A salvager enters Deep Nemo searching for the man she lost and discovers that the world’s first orbital housing estate was deliberately deorbited into the Pacific, with a surviving society still living inside its submerged remains.

THE STORY

The estate fell.
Its people survived.

Five years after Earth’s first orbital social housing estate was deliberately deorbited into the Pacific during a supposed evacuation, Gemma Ryan survives by recovering failed cargo drops near Point Nemo.

When an off-book orbital capsule drops inside Deep Nemo carrying evidence connected to Toma, the man she lost, Gemma crosses the exclusion zone to recover it.

Below the surface she finds the estate’s wreckage: a decaying underwater city whose residents were never evacuated and have survived beyond the world’s sight.
